LEPELLE NORTHERN WATER –

HIGH LIFT STATION, FIVE MULTI-STAGE PUMS (65MI/Day at 351m Head)
Lepelle Northern Water (LNW) – Supply, installation and commissioning of mechanical plant to replace 15 high lift pumps in 4 pump stations, including piping , valves, cranes and ancillary plant. The variable speed pumps deliver up to 0.347m3/s at total heads of up to 330m, with a total installed motor power of 23.1MW.
The contract also includes the complete refurbishment of 10 rapid gravity sand filters, valves, actuators and chemical dosing equipment for the 60Ml/day Ebenezer water treatment plant. The total contract value of about R290million.

Inyaka Water Treatment Works

Department of Water and Sanitation – We have completed many large pump stations and water treatment plants for DWS. The most notable being the complete mechanical and electrical works for the 75Ml/day extensions to the Inyaka Water Treatment Works, totalling about R97 million, and the complete mechanical works for the 60Ml/day Nandoni Water Treatment Works, with a total contract value of about R84million.
Vaalkop High Lift Pump Station
Magalies Water
We have completed numerous contracts for Magalies Water over the past 40 years, the most recent being the Vaalkop High Lift Pump Station, which consists of four tandem pump sets with a total installed power of 6.4MW and delivering 972m³/s at 306m head. The total contract value of about R40million.
Mhlatuze Water
Umngeni Water – Thukela-Goedertrouw
Mhlatuze Water / Umngeni Water – Thukela-Goedertrouw Emergency Transfer Scheme – Supply, installation and commissioning of mechanical and electrical plant to double the capacity of the existing transfer scheme, including a river abstraction pump station and high lift pumps in 2 pump stations, including piping, valves, cranes and ancillary plant. Each tandem pump-line delivers 0.625m3/s at a total head of 250m, with a total installed motor power of 8.7MW. The total contract value of about R154million.
Water Utilities Corporation
Botswana (WUC)
Water Utilities Corporation, Botswana (WUC) – The 40Ml/day mechanical extensions to the Palapye Water Treatment Works, which included the design, supply, installation and commissioning of the false filter floors, chemical dosing, piping, valves and ancillary equipment. The total contract value of about R61million.

Trans Caledon Tunnel Authority (TCTA)
We completed 4 significant contracts for TCTA, as follows:
The 1st TCTA project –
Mokolo Dam Pump Station
The Mokolo Dam Pump Station which feeds the Medupi Power Station, with a total installed power of 6,9MW and a contract value of about R50million.
The 2d TCTA project –
Steelpoort Pump Station
The Steelpoort Pump Station, forming part of the Olifants River Water Resources Development Project, with a total installed power of 13,37MW and a contract value of R67million.
The 3d TCTA project –
Mearns Pump Station
Refurbishment of the Mearns pump station, situated at the Mearns weir, with an installed power of 7,88MW and a contract value of about R47million.
The 4th TCTA project –
Mooi-Mgeni Pump Station
The Mooi-Mgeni Pump Station situated at the Spring Grove Dam, with a total installed power of 6.5MW and a contract value of about R44million.
